Taoism – Buddhism – Totemism – Islam

Why did Muslims become such undeveloped communities on earth if Islam is the most perfect understanding of RELIGION?”

This is a question I am asked very frequently.

I also receive the following question from the so-called enlightened groups:

“The understandings of oneness and humanism are available in a perfect form in Taoism, Buddhism and even in Cabbala, which is Jewish mysticism. Muslimism, however, is a rude, formalistic, tyrant and combatant understanding which is totally denied of love. All this is quite obvious in our world today. How can you still honor that warlike teaching?”

First of all, we should all comprehend that aiming to exalt something that is already exalted is simply irrationality.

Islam is the unique understanding of “RELIGION”, therefore in fact there is no any other religion on earth that could be considered to supersede or take part beside it! Being the most perfect human being and the most magnificent Spirit of Infinity who came to this world and communicated that understanding of "RELIGION" to us, Mohammed Mustafa (peace and blessings be upon him) is not only a servant, a Rasul, but is the final Nabi of Allah, as well, without anyone else to come closer to matching his excellence!

As for the reason why this is so…

People worshipped gods for ages and ages in the past. They used to worship totems erected in the name of gods. They used to worship sculptures which symbolized gods. They used to worship some beings somewhere either in the sky or on earth. Believing that whatever they received or would receive came from these gods; they devoted themselves to these totems outside of themselves.

So here’s the problem.

Could there be a “god”, that is “ilah” in Arabic, who would be dwelling on earth or in the sky remotely controlling the world and those who live on it?

(Some people in our day claim that these kind of godlike characters (concept of deity) relate to some specific societies who live in outer space; but this understanding is in fact a present-day adaptation of the idea of a God in the sky with his angels right beside him!)

However, the intellectual minds who questioned this issue from a universal point of view realized the fact that within the universal reality, the concept of such a deity can never exist.

An early appearance of the understanding that there can never be a god who dwells in the sky from so many centuries ago is Taoism in China: The whole existence is an undivided wholeness even if there is bewildering multiplicity according to the mechanism called the eye. The consciousness is the eye of this wholeness observing itself! Consciousness can recognize its essence at the extent that it perceives its true nature, and that recognition will eventually end up in “NOTHINGNESS”! The end result is the experience of “nothingness” within “NOTHINGNESS”!

Buddha, on the other hand, proposed mankind to reach “NIRVANA” as a final destination. For those who assumed themselves as a sack of flesh and bones and accepted that they would eventually disappear into the soil by the event of death, he explained that they are in fact a being of consciousness and their lives would still continue even after their bodies are turned to soil, and that they are the “ones” created from the “One” and that they are not just physical bodies but rather sacred souls, so as they could purify their souls, they would be able to attain Nirvana and live within that soul of oneness as sacred souls.

Another type of faith that is currently spreading in America though not yet known in Turkey, which is said to have more than 100 million followers all over the world, is the teachings of Falun Dafa of Chinese origin again. According to Falun Dafa, which seems to have roots in Taoism but manifests itself in the likes of Buddhist teachings, consciousness and matter is the same thing. Thoughts affect matter and matter affects thoughts at every single moment. The main spirit continuously manifests its own qualities through the brain by triggering it all the time. The human brain creates a kind of substance which is not in wave form. Every living being on earth is created from water. The water is the main source of life. The founder of this faith in 1992, Shifu Li Hongzhi, further claims that even the entire universe, is made of water. Although it is said to be a type of movement which had no specific links with the politics whatsoever, at the moment it is the focus of greatest controversy in China against the government. Therefore, its practitioners are under close surveillance and whenever they are captured, they are tortured to death. As far as I can tell, at the root of this activity is the control of information by the unseen forces of the world.

The concept of Jewish mysticism known as Cabbala, which constitutes the intellectual profundity of the understanding of “RELIGION” taught by Hazrat Moses, however, has spread the idea of oneness of existence, and that the spirit of all mankind is originated from a single spirit to its followers, beyond the apparent tribalistic and formalistic understanding in the outer world.

”Kabbala”, which constitutes the intellectual depth of the understanding of “RELIGION” introduced by the prophet Moses and the concept of Jewish mysticism, the whole existence is singular and the spirit of people really come from a single spirit.

In point of fact, it was just a form of expression and experience of the understanding rejecting a god out there owing to the comprehension of the wholeness that Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) put into words! The definition of “My father is the Lord” did not in fact refer to a physical god-son relation; it was rather pointing to the perception of a single SPIRIT in Cabbala teaching in form of many individual spirits. Turning toward the sky meant to symbolize the feeling and experience of the truth of the spiritual level of creator within the origins of your spirit’s consciousness as it is found in the profound dimensions of consciousness. Hazrat Jesus’s statement that “you are thinking like a human being, not like the Lord the Creator” was simply meant to make us grasp the addressing that “one should evaluate the events in the light of universal realities rather than thoughts based on human judgments and social conditionings”. The belief of being “chosen nation” which lies at the origin of Judaism did not only corresponded to all people who were born Jewish but those of them who would have high comprehension standards to accept and practice the Cabbala teachings –the development of this notion has formed the basis of Masonry.

Even though all the beliefs we have discussed to that point have some starting grounds and several correct findings, the greatest deficiency and insufficiency in them is their lack of information provided for the life after death and the practices needed to be performed in this world. None of them can give any information as to what kind of a mechanism is the structure of the human being, what is the function of the brain and how should someone use his brain in the best way and what needs to be done for his future life in accordance with the conditions of the afterlife. Nobody has been able to suggest anything on issues concerning the stages of eternal life after death. Needless to say, it is the most important for a human being to be fully aware of what is needed to be done in this world so that he could be happy in the life after death.

As the last Nabi explained the end of the world known as doomsday in the way as the Sun’s expansion to envelop the Earth and eventually swallowing it, on the other hand, in the holy Koran, a galactic doomsday far beyond the end of the world has been explained some 1400 years ago by way of such illustrations as the falling of stars! In our day we know the fact that all the stars in the Milky Way galaxy will soon be knocked off their orbits after some time and when viewed from the earth they would appear as if falling down. This incident would take place through the collusion of Milky Way with the Andromeda galaxy that is presently traveling towards us.

In point of fact, the most fundamental issue that needs to be comprehended is the fact about what, and how, the human beings, who will survive forever through the experiences of a number of transformations (deaths) will be able to obtain only in this world, which only the last Nabi Mohammed Mustafa (peace and blessings be upon him) have explained through the proclamation of the only “RELIGION” at the sight of Allah named as “ISLAM”.

In spite of all those that we have explained so far, Totemism has always been around in the world.

Not only among the natives of African or American tribes, Totemists have been among all other religion members as they have always survived among others owing to their characteristics. As a result of their creation in human-like nature, the Totemists are not given the ability to question and explore the meaning of their existence through deep thinking, and to feel and experience their true selves. They always assume that the whole existence including themselves is made up of physical matter only. They bear an image of a god out there, either on earth or up in the sky, somewhere high above or down below and they do everything they can for the sake of that god. They eat, they drink, they reproduce, they worship and they kill, all for the sake of their god whom they think is watching over from a distance separately! Or else, they never believe in anything, hence their totem is their own bodies! If you remove the name of their religion and affiliation from their labels, then there will be no difference in their point of view at all except their clothes, appearances and local conditionings. They will perform good deeds in the name of their god and obey him in order that they may in return be able to live forever in abundance of their god’s grants for eating, drinking and having sex. Otherwise, their gods would simply trap them into his hell and torment them forever.

Since their images of “god” are often at odds with one another, many are those who challenge to question and judge the others’ gods, criticize and reject them because of dislike, and even take up their axes to battle against each other. Because, they have either not heard of the meaning of the message “la ilaha = THERE IS NO GOD (hence there is no concept of god)” at all or have heard of it before but have never thought over it. Most of them have a voice-recorder-brain. They just memorize and repeat! Due to of their natural characteristics, they are unable to think about the meaning of what they say.

So, these are the Totemists! They are also named as the ‘people of polytheism’. Yet, without the removal of polytheism, the oneness (tawheed) cannot become actuality.

After all, it is the same state whether it is veiled or unveiled: A person and his god FAR BEYOND!

As a matter of fact, all the religious beliefs that we have listed above has shortcomings and is incomplete and ineffective as a matter of the future use of mankind compared to the teaching of “RELIGION” named as “Islam”. None of those beliefs give any explanation or have any emphasis regarding the “SunnatAllah” as explained in the understanding of “RELIGION” known as “ISLAM”. Therefore, the very important proclamations and teachings regarding the future of a person based on “SunnatAllah” coming from the last Nabi do not exist in any other understanding.

As for the Muslims who have grasped and embraced the only real understanding of “RELIGION” named as Islam, as proclaimed by the servant and Rasul of Allah Mohammad Mustafa, who is the most magnificent brain and character ever lived on earth and the most glorified spirit of eternity.

Muslims do not believe in a god out there, in a place far away from them, somewhere high above in sky or in space; but they believe in the qualities, which are explained through the holy Koran, of the one that the most eminent Rasul referred by the nameALLAH”. They try to attain certainty (yaqeen) in faith and strive to achieve the certitude (iqaan) in this matter! In addition to the certainty which they have already obtained, they would also seek to realize and understand the SunnatAllah and live to fulfill its effect as due.

SO HERE WE ARE TO THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT OF SEPARATION AND DIFFERENCE WITH THE PREVIOUS ONES!

Yes, let us now mark the most important point where the Rasul of ALLAH and the final Nabi Mohammad Mustafa differ and distinguish from the previous ones.

People who seek to become aware of the intellectual fundamentals of the understanding of “RELIGION” presented under the name “Islam” will sooner or later enter the field of Sufism. This journey of questioning and grasping of what lies beyond is the first stage of getting to know and understand what the one named as “ALLAH” is.

During this journey, which is named as “fanafillah” (annihilation in Allah) in Sufi terminology, the person will realize that in the sight of the one named as “Allah”, the existence of him as well as of the universe consist of “nothing” and are created of mere “nothingness”, and that the only true absolute being that exists is the being referred to as “ALLAH”. This awareness will eventually lead the person to the realization of his nonexistence and nothingness. This is the point where the perception as well as comprehension disappears completely!

However, in the state of “sayrul afaaq” (objective contemplation – journey towards horizons) experienced on the base of “wahdat” (unity) understanding, it is realized in a step by step fashion that the entire existence is a whole single being undivided into parts, that is known as singularity (wahidiyyah). This realization will finally end up in “ahadiyyah” (oneness) or in other words “NOTHINGNESS” provided that the person has adequate capacity for it. The end result is the manifestation of living in absolute darkness, which in Sufi terminology is referred to as the state of experiencing "ama” (the senselessness) in consideration of consciousness. Because of the quality of Oneness (ahadiyyah), in other words the attribute of "NOTHINGNESS" of the One that is named as "ALLAH", not even the experience of such a spiritual station can be mentioned for in which there is not even deep thinking (tafaqqur)!

After this, for those who have been granted his share, the spiritual perfection of “baqabillah” (permanence by Allah) begins.

The life experience in the “SunnatAllah”!

The One, who created the whole existence, whether perceived or not, from “nothingness” by creating them all in his consciousness (ilm) also in forms of consciousness (as conscious beings) through its own Qualities (sifat) and Names (asma), has willed that the entire creation could manifest their servitude until eternity by way of a new event of glory taking place at every single moment.

It is for this reason that the multiverses in universe have all manifested possessing a particular system and order, and besides they will keep subsisting in accordance with the reason of their existence and their systems as long as the Qualities and Names that make up their existence remains existent!

So, within that “SunnatAllah”, the human consciousness that is manifested in this world, is in one side in need of endeavoring to understand the true meaning of the entire existence as well as of his own, and on the other side he needs to question how and in what way he should carry on with his life so that it may be more positive and beneficial for his future life.

The answer to this issue has come from Muhammad Mustafa, the Rasul and the final Nabi of Allah, in the most perfect way.

Because of its characteristic of not having godlike origins that the Mohammedan teaching based on wahy (revelation) begins with “la ilaha” meaning “THERE IS NO GOD (no concept of divinity)” and continues with “illa ALLAH” meaning “only Allah”. It has been told that the concept of divinity does not exist at all, but there exists only the one named as “ALLAH”; for this reason, spiritual practices known as ibadat are need to be carried out as an effect of “SunnatAllah” without any worship to an exterior god being in question.

The information of “SunnatAllah” which came as additional information to some discoveries made in the past is the most important part of the issue after realizing what the One denoted by the name “ALLAH” is.

What will turn a human’s life and future into paradise or make him live in hell, depends upon how well that individual makes use of “SunnatAllah”. Those who are allowed by their creation, will take into account the “SunnatAllah” and so their lives and future becomes the environment of peace and happiness that has been denoted as “paradise”. On the other hand, those who give no heed to the “SunnatAllah” will be spending their lives in various forms of burning environments, from the very first day of their life.

In other words, the most significant difference between the only religion known under the name “ISLAM” and all the previous beliefs is that is whether we realize the “SunnatAllah” and live as it requires us, or not, after comprehending what the one named as “Allah” is.

Because, by knowing the One that is named as “ALLAH”, your existence, your person and individual consciousness would never ever disappears as sugar dissolves in water.

No matter if they attained the stage of “NOTHINGNESS” mentioned in Taoism, reached Nirvana, found Jehovah, or realized that what is referred to as ALLAH is an incomprehensible ahadiyyah and felt the spiritual station of “nothingness” within one’s origin and essence, everyone is still in a position forever to live as a soul with personality after departing this world through the transformation called “death” regardless of where they go afterwards.

It is for this reason that no matter how much an individual realizes his truth and at what level, he has to carry on his life and his practices in accordance with the principles of the system and order as outlined by the last Nabi. Another way of expressing this is to understand and live a life compatible with the “SunnatAllah”.

It is because the fact that everyone will live the consequences of their own actions (i.e. things that they did with their hands) and since they are already in this state as a result of the nature of the system of creation, it is the most important reality of life for everybody to understand the meaning of what the final Nabi Muhammad Mustafa has tried to explain.

Now, we came back to the question at the beginning of our discussion and its answer: “Why are most of Muslim communities such undeveloped countries on earth?”

Some communities did not believe in god and neither did they expect anything from a god far away, therefore, since they had no other alternative but to put their powers within themselves to use, they made considerable progresses.

Some other communities, however, have tried to develop themselves hammer and tongs under the influence of the though originating from their school they were educated that “the power lies within your existence, so do not expect anything from outside but instead try to learn how to utilize what you already have”.

During the times when the Sufi teaching that “indeed, you could achieve many things by the power of the Attributes and the Names of the Creator that is within you, if only you could discover these potentials,” had been in effect, Muslim communities have been the pioneers of the world in many fields.

But unfortunately, as the understanding of “RELIGION” was considered as if satisfying the desire and hence obtaining the approval of god up there, and so the understanding that took the spiritual practices as worshipping god above was spread over time, the entire phenomenon has been diverted from its correct course to the deviated belief of “expecting everything from the one high above”. This in return produced a period of regression for some Muslim communities.

As far as everything is expected from the one up there in heavens and unless the insight of constructing our future by using the powers originated from the Qualities and the Names of the Creator within our essence is discovered, it is quite inevitable for people whom such an understanding rule, to remain behind beside others.
